I started to play squash at the age of 7.
What really interests me about squash is the speed of the game, and also having to think fast under pressure. It’s almost like playing chess on legs.
As a junior my career highlights were winning the British Junior Open U-15s, and representing India at the World Team Championships in Germany. I turned full-time professional at the age of 17, and reached a career high world rank of 44. I have played on the professional tour for 15 years. I have now retired from professional competition, and gotten into full-time coaching. Currently, I’m the National coach of the Norwegian National Squash Team for juniors and seniors. My goal in coaching is to grow the squash community in Norway by sharing my experience and knowledge with juniors and adult hobby players, and make them better squash players.
